Achieva has been closely monitoring the potential of a Canada Post strike and as you might be aware, on October 22, Canada Post began a series of rotating strikes in different cities across Canada.

The good news is that we're virtual, so you're likely not to be affected by it. Having said that, here are some options to further alleviate the impact: 

For Existing Achieva Customers

Achieva Online Internet banking is our secure method to access your account information at any time:

  • Sign-up for the Green for Green- online documents program and receive $1 per month
  • Check account balances
  • Send us secure online messages
  • Monitor account activities & establish auto alerts
  • Transfer funds within your account and/or purchase a GIC,TFSA or RSP
  • Pay Bills
  • Download the AchievaMobile app to check balances, transfer funds, and pay bills. You can also make deposits to your Achieva account with Remote Deposit Capture (RDC).

Depositing/withdrawing Money:

  • Establish an Achieva Direct to have funds transferred to or from your Achieva account from or to any other personal account; you have at another financial institution.
  • Cheque, ATM Access & Interac Direct Debit. Should your Achieva account be established with these services, access to your Achieva account will remain available to you throughout the Canada Post strike.

Opening an Account

Mobile:

Download the AchievaMobile app and choose “Open an Account” and you can:

  • Fill in your information by scanning your ID instead of typing
  • Deposit your first cheque by taking a picture with Deposit Anywhere

Online:

  • Open your Account Securely Online by clicking “open an account”.
Since you will need to mail your application and initial account deposit, keep in mind you may encounter some delays or you may elect to courier.
