What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) provides additional security when logging into Achieva Online Banking or the Achieva Mobile App.

When logging in with 2FA, you will need to enter your password plus a verification code that will be sent to you via text or email.

For additional security, you can enable 2FA to be "Always On", meaning you would need to enter a code every time you login to your account.

If 2FA is not enabled for each login, the verification code will be required when:

  • Logging in using a new device
  • Logging in from a new location and there is no matching travel advisory on your account
  • When cookies/cache have been cleared on your device
